Financial Services - Electronic Funds Transfer
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is a common way to meet today's financial
obligations. All accounts written by The ILM Group must elect to either prepay
the entire annual premium at inception or enroll in our EFT payment plan. The
benefits of the EFT plan include the following:
- There are NO service fees. A possible savings of up to $81 per year.
- There is NO down payment.
- Nine equal monthly transfers.*
- A choice of transfer dates-the 1st, the 15th or the 25th.
- Simplicity - NO checks to write.
Signed authorization by the customer provides The ILM Group permission to
transfer premium payment from their bank to ours. When the plan is activated, we
notify the customer of the exact amount to be transferred and the timing of the
transfer.
The plan consists of nine equal monthly transfers that pay the total new or
renewal premium. Endorsement and audit premiums are not included in the EFT
plan. These are invoiced separately and are paid as they become due. Credits to
the account are returned in the form of a check.
